CricLive Pvt. Ltd. ("CricLive", "we", "us" or "our") operates the CricLive live cricket scores platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using CricLive, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible while still delivering a fast, reliable experience. We may collect:

• Account information - your name, mobile number, and optionally your email address and profile photo.
• Match & team content - team names, player profiles, match scores, and photos you upload for teams, matches or tournaments.
• Usage data - screens viewed, matches and tournaments followed, and interactions with features.
• Device & technical data - device identifier, device name, operating system, platform (Android/iOS), and approximate region derived from your IP address.
• Push notification token - a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token used to deliver push notifications to your device.
• Location data - your approximate GPS coordinates (city-level) when you grant location permission, used to show matches near you.
• Contacts - contact names and phone numbers when you grant contacts permission, used only to help you add team players quickly.
• Communications - the contents of messages you send us via the contact form or in-app chat.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data beyond what is listed above, and we never sell your personal information.

CricLive may request the following device permissions. Each permission is requested only when you use the relevant feature and you can revoke it at any time through your device settings.

• Camera - to capture photos for your profile, team, match or tournament.
• Photo library / Gallery - to select existing photos from your device.
• Contacts - to help you add team players from your phone book. Contact data is used only within the app and is not stored on our servers.
• Location - to show cricket matches happening near you. Only city-level data is used.
• Notifications - to send you live score updates, match reminders and important announcements.

We use device local storage to keep the platform working and to remember your session. This includes:

• Authentication tokens - a secure token that keeps you logged in across sessions.
• Device identifier - a unique ID generated for your device to associate your sessions and send notifications.
• User preferences - your last-used settings so the experience feels personal.
• Recently viewed matches - stored locally for quick access.

You can clear this data by logging out or uninstalling the app.

We use the information we collect to:

• Verify your identity via mobile OTP and maintain your account.
• Deliver live scores, fixtures, tournaments and statistics.
• Send push notifications for live score updates and match reminders.
• Show matches and tournaments in your area using location data.
• Help you add team players quickly using your contacts.
• Display your profile, team and match photos within the app.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse and debug issues.
• Respond to your enquiries and support requests.
• Understand aggregate usage to improve the product.
• Track and display profile views, match views and tournament activity.

We use the following Firebase services to measure usage and maintain app stability:

• Firebase Analytics - tracks screen views and in-app events in aggregate to help us understand how the app is used. Your user ID may be associated with analytics events.
• Firebase Crashlytics - automatically collects crash reports and error logs, including your user ID, to help us identify and fix bugs quickly.
• Firebase Remote Config - fetches app configuration (such as maintenance status and environment settings) without collecting personal data.

Analytics data is used to improve reliability and experience, not to profile individuals for advertising.

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the platform. These providers process data only as needed to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy obligations:

• Firebase (Google) - analytics, crash reporting, push notifications and remote configuration.
• Cloud hosting providers - secure storage and delivery of app content and uploaded images.

We may link to third-party sites (such as social platforms). This policy does not cover their practices, so please review their privacy policies.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Revoke device permissions (camera, contacts, location, notifications) at any time through your device settings.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can delete your CricLive account at any time, right from the app. To delete your account:

• Open the CricLive app and sign in.
• Go to Profile → Settings.
• Tap Delete Account and confirm.

What happens after you delete your account:

• Your account is closed right away and you will be signed out.
• Scores and match records that other players and teams rely on stay on the platform, but without your personal details.
• We may keep a small amount of data only if the law requires it, and delete it once that period ends.

Changed your mind? If you want to reactivate your account, contact our support team at info.criclive@gmail.com.

Can't access the app? Email us at info.criclive@gmail.com with your registered mobile number and we will delete your account within 7 business days.

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us or using the in-app delete option. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures - including encryption in transit, secure authentication tokens and access controls - to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your data.

CricLive is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

CricLive is operated from India. If you access the platform from elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the revised policy.
